About the Event
Here in Kansas City, communities of color are also transportation hubs, sliced up by highways and freight yards, and overly congested. All those emissions are harming the health, safety, and livability of our neighborhoods. We'll be raising our voices to advocate for clean transportation through music, poetry, and art to bring folks into the climate conversation who have normally been left behind.
Shirley's Kitchen Cabinet, Poetry for Personal Power & Metropolitan Energy Center are excited to co-host a Green For All #FuelChange watch party, right here in the Heartland. As part of a national effort organized by The Dream Corps, we're joining a movement to reverse climate change and improve the health of underserved communities in our area.
Clean air isn't just an environmental issue - it's an issue of happiness, health, and equity. Join us in fighting for the simple right to breathable air, because it's time for a #FuelChange.
Join us in using the power of our voices to fight for breathable air, livable neighborhoods, and #FuelChange in communities across KC.
